The first guru of SIKH among ten is GURU NANAK DEVJI who was not only the founder of SIKHISM but also brought to light the cardial religious truths and percepts that had been scattered ,in explicit form or implicitly through the religious legacies of a number of fore-runners of faith.
GURU NANAK DEVJI was born in TALWANDI , now known as NANKANA SAHIB in 1469.The proud FATHER was MEHTA KALU JI and the blessed MOTHER was MATA TRIPTA JI . He had very beloved sister called BEBE NANKEE. He was married to SRI SULKHANI JI daughter of MUL CHAND at PUKHO KE RANDHAWAY . He had two sons namely BABA SRI CHAND JI and BABA LAKHAMI DASJI .He founded KARTARPUR.
